01Lesson 1

What MShop actually is

Goal

Understand why one app replaces six.

Steps

  1. Most businesses juggle a shop tool, a booking calendar, a rental system, a warehouse system, a supplier portal and an accounting package.
  2. MShop does all six, sharing one customer list, one cart, one invoice and one ledger.
  3. Explore the home screen and notice the sections for products, services and rentals.

What to notice

A single customer can buy an item, book an appointment and rent equipment in one checkout, on one invoice.

02Lesson 2

Your account and your profile

Goal

Learn the two-part identity that confuses everyone at first.

Steps

  1. Sign up with your phone number and confirm the code you receive.
  2. Your account is who you are. A profile is how you act inside a business.
  3. Tap your avatar at the top to switch between personas at any time.

What to notice

One person can be a shopper, a store manager and a warehouse operator without ever signing out.

03Lesson 3

Setting up your business

Goal

Create the legal entity that owns everything else.

Steps

  1. Create a business with your trading name, tax registration and currency.
  2. Add your logo and a storefront photo.
  3. Invite your staff and give each one the access they need.

What to notice

Your business name is protected in storage, while product names stay searchable so customers can find you.

04Lesson 4

Opening your first branch

Goal

Create the physical place where trade happens.

Steps

  1. Add a branch with its address and opening hours.
  2. Turn on the counter till if you serve people in person.
  3. Add a holiday and watch the appointment calendar block that day automatically.

What to notice

A branch holiday reaches the booking calendar on its own — nobody has to edit bookings by hand.

05Lesson 5

Your first product

Goal

List something for sale, with real options.

Steps

  1. Create a product and add its variants, such as sizes or colours, each with its own stock.
  2. Use the suggestion buttons to get help with pricing and tax classification.
  3. Add photos, a question and answer, and a barcode for counter scanning.

What to notice

The availability shoppers see is your stock minus whatever is being held in other people's carts right now.

06Lesson 6

Your first order and invoice

Goal

Complete a sale and produce a proper tax document.

Steps

  1. Add the product to a cart and check out.
  2. Apply a discount code and watch the total recalculate.
  3. Open the invoice and choose the format that matches your country.

What to notice

Tax is always calculated on the server, and your invoice numbers run in a gapless sequence for each branch and financial year.

07Lesson 7

Offering a bookable service

Goal

Sell time instead of goods.

Steps

  1. Create a service with its duration, how many clients you can serve at once, and your opening hours.
  2. Assign the staff who can perform it.
  3. Set your cancellation refund rules, then book a slot as a customer.

What to notice

If a queue number is cancelled it is never reused that day, so a customer holding a paper ticket is never confused.

08Lesson 8

Renting something out

Goal

Sell a period of use, and get the asset back.

Steps

  1. Create a rental asset and say how many units you own.
  2. Block a unit for maintenance and watch availability drop.
  3. As a customer, choose your dates — your units are held while you check out.

What to notice

A deposit is money you are holding, not money you have earned. It only becomes income if you keep it for damage.

09Lesson 9

Stock in, stock out

Goal

Run a warehouse without losing count.

Steps

  1. Scan goods into a receiving list, recording batch numbers and expiry dates.
  2. Issue the receipt document — the list empties and a permanent record is created.
  3. Pick and dispatch stock as a delivery document.

What to notice

For perishable goods the system picks the batch that expires soonest, and the person who counts stock is never the person who approves a write-off.

10Lesson 10

Expenses and your books

Goal

See the whole business as numbers that balance.

Steps

  1. File an expense with a photo of the receipt.
  2. Have a manager approve it from the approvals list.
  3. Open your accounts and generate the balance, profit, position and cash reports.

What to notice

Every entry must balance before it can be recorded, and a recorded entry is corrected by a reversal rather than by editing history.
